Fire Extinguisher Training

It is a legal requirement for EVERY employer, no matter what the company size, to provide basic Fire Awareness Training to EVERY Employee?

Did you also know that it's not a one-off requirement, and that repeat/refresher training should be carried-out at 12-monthly intervals?

New Employees should be provided with Basic Fire Awareness Traning within 3 months of employment?

If the risk changes due to moving office/location, the introduction of new equipment or technology, or changes of responsibilities, you must have your staff re-trained.

Failure to comply with this law (especially in the case of an injury or death due to fire) can carry a heavy prison sentence and/or fine.

At DDA Fire, we provide Basic Fire Awareness Training Courses for companies in London and the South East of England. Our Basic Fire Awareness training course lasts 4-6 hours and covers the following subjects:-

Fire awareness
Raising the alarm
Calling the fire service
Location and use of fire extinguishers

As part of the Basic Fire Awareness Training Course, the trainees will receive hands-on experience of water and/or CO2 extinguishers on a simulated live fire. All trainees receive a certificate on completion.

Our Fire Awareness Instructors

Our instructors are all current fire fighters, who spend a lot of their time working in the film and TV industry. As such, they are all experts in the subject and are fully conversant with the very latest fire and safety laws and requirements. This means you and your staff are trained to the highest possible level by current firemen with current knowledge (unlike some of our competitors).

Train at your Place or Pinewood Studios?

We can offer you two options for your training. We can either conduct the Course at your company premises, or we can do it right here at our base in Pinewood Studios, giving your staff an interesting day out of the office. We have a maximum class sizes 12 trainees at a time.
