The British standard recommends that dry risers are inspected every six months and hydraulically tested annually. The responsability of maintaining dry riser systems (along with all other fire safety equipment) is that of the building owner or managing agent - In the event of a fire, failure to do so could result in prosecution.  With us, your Dry risers will have their annual hydraulic test performed by a dedicated fire brigade spec vehicle, ensuring that they are tested to the full required 10 bar pressure (as stated in BS 9990/2006), which many other companies just simply can’t achieve with a small van mounted tank and pump.
